The Philadelphia Eagles are doing their due diligence on the Class of 2023.
The franchise has been able to do a good job of keeping the roster intact and in a position to compete during the upcoming season, but don't think for a second that it isn't going to try to find ways to get even better in the draft.
In a list that keeps growing by the day, the Eagles are now set to meet with Georgia corner and athletic freak Kelee Ringo in a top-30 visit.
This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
The Eagles might still have one of the best corner duos in the league, but why not add a third to keep making this extremely important part of the defense as ready as possible?
Ringo may have some flaws in his game in man coverage and with penalties during his last year at Georgia, but his incredible athleticism and speed (4.36 40) combined with his age and resume at Georgia should make it a given that he goes off the board in the first round.
The first pick for the Eagles would be a bit too rich for Ringo as it stands, but the 30th pick in the first round seems like a great bit of value for a player like this.
At least the team is keeping its options open.
