The Philadelphia Eagles were one of the most balanced teams in the NFL in 2022. The offense and the defense were some of the best in the league by a healthy margin most weeks, and it looks like that isn't going to change much this year.
Despite already having one of the best wide receiver duos in the league and a great tight end, it looks like the Eagles aren't done keeping an eye on weapons for quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is one of the best wide receivers in the upcoming class and it looks like the Eagles are keeping an eye on him with the draft set to begin in a few days.
While many fans would question this, a move like this would be one of the best-possible by a team that really has very few needs on either side of the ball.
Going out and getting a top wide receiver to then create the best receiver trio in the NFL would be the perfect way for the Eagles to maximize the value of Jalen Hurts for the next few years keep an offense that would be next to impossible to stop.
The coming days could reveal more about how much the Eagles love the receiver out of Ohio State, but don't rule the move out just yet in an NFL that has begun to prioritize receiver more every year.
