The Detroit Lions aren't going to stop making moves in the 2023 NFL Draft. This is good news for a team that can afford to stockpile picks in later rounds as it still has a roster to round out.

After already putting together one good trade back in the first round and another quality trade up in the second round, the Lions have traded back again with the 55th-overall pick.

Picks at this point aren't nearly as valuable as they were in the first round, but this was still another chance for Brad Holmes and his team to get more compensation for a player they could probably get with a later selection in the second round.

Here are the official terms of the trade:

This is a great move. The 249th pick isn't much to write home about, but moving back to 63 to also move up from 194 to 122 is absolutely worth it in the end.

Essentially the Lions moved back a few picks with their third second-round pick to move up from 194 to the fourth round. Hard to knock it.
