The Philadelphia Eagles aren't slowing down one bit after doing so much to make it to the Super Bowl last season.

The 2023 NFL Draft was filled with great moves for the Eagles, and now the team is in an even better position to make it to the Super Bowl this season than it was last year.

So, without further ado, let's check out the Eagles' post-draft roster. Note: Single asterisks (*) represent 2023 draft picks.

Quarterback

  • Ian Book
  • Jalen Hurts
  • Marcus Mariota
  • Tanner McKee*

The skinny: The McKee pick still doesn't make all that much sense from a skillset standpoint, but this is still Jalen Hurts' team to lead after he just got paid. Look for Book to probably get the boot during training camp.

Running back

  • Kennedy Brooks
  • Kenneth Gainwell
  • Rashaad Penny
  • Boston Scott
  • Trey Sermon
  • D'Andre Swift

The skinny: This might be the hardest room to project for the regular season. Every one of these guys brings something to the table for the Eagles and their committee approach to the rushing attack. Competition will be fierce.

Wide receiver

  • Devon Allen
  • A.J. Brown
  • Kyrie Cleveland
  • Britain Covey
  • DeVonta Smith
  • Greg Ward
  • Quez Watkins
  • Olamide Zaccheaus

The skinny: This group is very top-heavy. The Eagles have done well to go out and find ways to round out depth but they are one injury away from having this room look very different in the public eye.

Tight end

  • Grant Calcaterra
  • Dallas Goedert
  • Tyree Jackson
  • Dalton Keene
  • Jack Stoll

The skinny: Almost a little surprising the Eagles didn't target this position in a class with so much talent at tight end, but the group will be in good hands again with one of the top TE1s in the league and a good group of depth options with different skillsets.

Offensive line

  • Jason Kelce (C)
  • Cameron Tom (C)
  • Cam Jurgens (C/G)
  • Landon Dickerson (G)
  • Sua Opeta (G)
  • Tyrese Robinson (G)
  • Jack Driscoll (OL)
  • Julian Good-Jones (OL)
  • Tyler Steen* (OL)
  • Lane Johnson (T)
  • Fred Johnson (T)
  • Roderick Johnson (T)
  • Jordan Mailata (T)
  • Jarrid Williams (T)

The skinny: You have to always be investing in your offensive line after you pay a quarterback as much as you pay Jalen Hurts. Not a lot of changes coming for this group with all of its veterans, but the Eagles have planned for the future well.

Defensive line

  • Derek Barnett (DE)
  • Brandon Graham (DE)
  • Tarron Jackson (DE)
  • Matt Leo (DE)
  • Janarius Robinson (DE)
  • Josh Sweat (DE)
  • Kentavius Street (DL)
  • Fletcher Cox (DT)
  • Jalen Carter* (DT)
  • Jordan Davis (DT)
  • Noah Elliss (DT)
  • Moro Ojomo* (DT)
  • Marlon Tuipulotu (DT)
  • Milton Williams (DT)

The skinny: Much like on the offensive end, the defensive success for the Eagles starts up front. This group is one of the most dominant in the NFL, and you can expect the defensives successes of 2022 to return in 2023 with a group that arguably got better.

Outside linebacker

  • Christian Elliss
  • Kyron Johnson
  • Patrick Johnson
  • Nicholas Morrow
  • Hasson Reddick
  • Davion Taylor

The skinny: Not a ton of movement here, but not a ton of movement needed. Players like Hasson Reddick were able to feast on opposing offenses last year and that should continue at an even higher rate as the whole defense was able to improve.

Inside linebacker

  • Shaun Bradley
  • Nakobe Dean
  • Nolan Smith*

The skinny: One addition here made sense. Nakobe Dean is one name that most all Eagles fans are keeping an eye on excitedly, but preparing for every contingency is important.

Cornerback

  • James Bradberry
  • Mario Goodrich
  • Jose Jobe
  • Avonte Maddox
  • Zach McPhearson
  • Kelee Ringo*
  • Josiah Scott
  • Darius Slay
  • Greedy Williams
  • Tristian McCollum (DB)

The skinny: The Eagles already have the best corner duo in the NFL with a surprising bit of depth behind them. How Kelee Ringo slipped to them so late is beyond this writer, and it is going to create a lot of problems for the Eagles' opponents in 2023.

Safety

  • Reed Blankenship
  • Sydney Brown*
  • Andre Chachere
  • Terrell Edmunds
  • Justin Evans
  • K'Von Wallace

The skinny: The Eagles got very busy after the departure of C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Free agents and draft picks will gives the Eagles the best chance possible to weed out who his successor will be during training camp.

Special teams

  • Jake Elliott (K)
  • Rick Lovato (LS)
  • Arryn Siposs (P)

The skinny: Not as much competition here. The Eagles may bring in some practice squad guys to round the group out down the road for a competition to keep everyone sharp, but no changes are needed here.
