The Denver Broncos 2023 NFL Draft is over and now, it's about getting the Broncos' draft class signed so they can be ready to roll when training camp starts.

George Paton and Sean Payton ferociously attacked the defensive side of the football with the draft in the later rounds. With their first selection, they gave Russell Wilson yet another weapon and wound up trading the Saints to get another tight end to equip Wilson with. All-in-all, the draft was a success, even with the limited selections.

Figuring out how much the class will cost to sign is a bit tricky and figuring out how much it'll take up in cap space is a bit trickier. There's one key factor to remember with the latter scenario and that's the top-51 rule. Until final cuts, only the top-51 salaries count against the salary cap. If a new player gets added to the roster and his salary is less than the 51st-ranked salary, then he won't count against the cap. There will be a few rookies who fit this bill and that's where things can get a little tough.

So, what's the Broncos' 2023 draft class going to cost?

Per Over The Cap, the Broncos' 2023 draft class is projected to cost $4,193,617 to sign but will count as $1,005,920 against the cap in 2023. OTC currently has the Broncos with a little over $5M in cap space, meaning the team won't have to make any roster adjustments to sign the rookies to the roster. In all, it'll cost the Broncos $21,437,378 in its entirety. If all of the picks stay on the team throughout the entire duration of their rookie deals, of course.

Below is OTC's projection of how much each pick will count against the cap in 2023:

  • Round 3, No. 63:  $1,122,223
  • Round 3, No. 67: $1,058,277
  • Round 3, No. 83: $1,003,268
  • Round 6, No. 183: $801,970
  • Round 7, No. 257: $770,482

And here's the projected total value of each contract:

  • Round 3, No. 63: $6,172,228
  • Round 3, No. 67: $5,820,522
  • Round 3, No. 83: $5,517,974
  • Round 6, No. 183: $4,046,680
  • Round 7, No. 257: $3,921,928
