The second-year Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is currently dealing with a mini-controversy that is completely absurd.
Though fortunately for Pickett, the news cycle moves insanely quickly so folks will be on the next controversy in no time.
The controversy involves Pickett shotgunning a beer at a recent Luke Combs at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
Combs, one of the biggest stars in country music, brought Pickett on stage at his concert on Saturday night and the two chugged a beer together.
And there are apparently some folks that are upset that Pickett, who will turn 25 later this summer, drank a beer in public.
There's nothing illegal happening in this video. It's simply Pickett at a big event, in the city where he's a star, having a good time with a crowd that's full of mostly Steelers fans (and I'm betting most of those fans loved it…at least judging by the crowd reaction).
I can't fathom what there is to be upset about, but that's the internet for you.
Keep doing you, Kenny. Folks will soon find something else to be temporarily "livid" about.
