ESPN NFL Reporter Dianna Russini appeared on NFL Live on Wednesday to provide an update on what the Tennessee Titans are thinking with the 2023 NFL Draft quickly approaching.

Russini spoke with Titans GM Ran Carthon in his office at the team facility on Wednesday and Carthon told Russini that the Titans are "open to anything," willing to move up, down, or stay put at number 11.

Titans fans will be happy to hear that, according to Russini's league sources, the Arizona Cardinals have taken calls from Tennessee about trading up for the number three pick. You'd have to figure Tennessee would only be jumping that far up to draft their next franchise quarterback.

"Teams like the Arizona Cardinals have taken calls from the Tennessee Titans about perhaps trading up," Russini said. "Now, the player they're going for? Carthon wouldn't tell me what they're doing, but my sense is the Tennessee Titans have their eyes on a quarterback and they're going to do everything they can to go get him."

Tennessee making an aggressive move to go get a quarterback has to be music to the ears of every Titans fan. While the on-field performance of Ryan Tannehill has been serviceable and the talent around him has been lackluster, the fanbase is restless for change.

From the moment the Titans lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional Playoffs in January of 2022, Titans fans have demanded more from their franchise and more from their quarterback. Nashville is hungry for a young, elite quarterback like never before.

Who do the Titans love so much that they would move up for? There's no way of knowing for sure until a trade happens and Roger Goodell announces the name at the podium. But if I were to venture a guess, I'd say it's C.J. Stroud.

Mike Vrabel is an Ohio State alum with deep connections to Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day and the OSU program. According to what Stroud said at the draft on Wednesday, Vrabel has been "checking up on him" for a full calendar year leading up to this draft.

During Carthon's pre-draft press conference on Monday, the Titans GM said that the reason for not bringing Stroud to Nashville on a Top 30 visit was because Vrabel and OC Tim Kelly have already spent time with him and "feel good about him as a person."

Just about 24 hours out from the Carolina Panthers being on the clock, things are really heating up in Nashville. The Titans could be one day away from finding the future face of their franchise.
