Brandon Beane just a few days ago told the media that if he were a betting man, he would assume the team would be moving down and not up in the 2023 NFL draft. As we all know, that isn't what happened.

The Bills' general manager worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars to trade up from the 27th position to the 25th position to take Utah TE Dalton Kincaid. Kincaid is a big-bodied tight end who does most of his damage in the seams, a welcomed addition to the offense.

Undoubtedly, Buffalo will look to deploy some 12 personnel sets with Kincaid and Knox on the field. In a brief meeting with the media, Beane joked that the team would look to deploy an 11.5 personnel set, discussing Kincaid isn't your traditional tight end and that the team would look to spread him out.

Immediately after being drafted, Kincaid sent a message to the Bills Mafia. The newly drafted tight end was rocking BIlls gear and seemed happier than ever. His dream of playing in the NFL has finally come true.

Kincaid was brief, but direct, "Bills Mafia, can't wait to get up there (Buffalo) and play with some of the best, learn from some of the best, let's go!"

McDermott loves students of the game and Kincaid appears to be just that. Not only that, but Kincaid calling out Bills Mafia shows that the tight end understands how much the fan base means to the city and the team.

It didn't take long for Kincaid to win over the hearts of Bills Mafia. Having a few big moments on the field will do nothing but cement himself further. The easy part is done, now it's time to see what he can do with Josh Allen.

Buckle up, this is going to be fun.
