The Kansas City Chiefs may have a problem looming in their future. But, it's not one we should actually be worried about, considering who the head coach and quarterback are.
There are a few teams that are in the head coach market this off-season, which means teams will be wanting to interview guys on Andy Reid's staff. It is an annual thing at this point.
One of the guys that get looked at every season is Eric Bieniemy, the Chiefs offensive coordinator.
Bieniemy recently interviewed for the Indianapolis Colts head coaching position, and could very well get the job as he is more than qualified. This is a guy who has been trying to become a head coach for several years now, and Reid himself has endorsed the move, but no one has taken a chance on the guy.
Bieniemy is going against some other coaches for the job as well. Guys like Ejiro Evero, the Broncos' defensive coordinator, and Sean Payton, just to name a few.
Now, it wouldn't really be a problem if he did get the job, because Reid will just replace him with another guy on his staff, likely Matt Nagy, the quarterbacks' coach, but it is something that could bring change to this team.
This is definitely something to watch out for, as e have been doing for the last few years now. Bieniemy would make a great coach for any team who gets him.
