The Las Vegas Raiders have some tough decision to make in their offseason, whether it be about their former franchise quarterback Derek Carr, their next franchise quarterback that we don’t yet know, or their franchise running back Josh Jacobs.
Not to mention, they have a lot of drama currently surrounding them. The Carr drama is followed by the drama of Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams old running mate, having some rumors about him possibly joining the team.
Then there is the stuff with Josh Jacobs, where we quite literally don’t know what will happen. Will he stay in the silver and black or will he join another team?
That seemed to be one of the more important questions he was asked recently on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football.
"I mean, yeah, man, for me, man, you know, I got the Raiders shield tattooed on me," Jacobs said. "It's always something that I wanted to be a part of, you know, coming in and seeing the culture and, you know, want to get back to winning and change the culture to get the winning mentality and things like that. I'm fully invested in it. So, man, I mean, I just, I just bought a house in Vegas, It's definitely a place where I want to be."
To hear Jacobs say he has the shield tattooed on him should make Raiders fans excited about a possible return. Just that says he has always thought about being a Raider.
But, it’s all about the money, not in a bad way, but if the money fits I don’t think he would hesitate to come back. If the money didn’t fit we can be sure he will be looking elsewhere.
Jacobs just had a career year too, so most suitors will be offering a pretty penny to get him on their squad. The Raiders may have to back up the brinks truck if the want to keep their second all-time leading rusher for yards in a season.
Jacobs sounds like he wants to be back, now we just have to monitor the situation.
