CBS Sports recently named one free agent that each NFL team should target this offseason and their choice for the Minnesota Vikings is perfect.
Jordan Dajani, an NFL writer for CBS Sports, suggested that Minnesota should sign Jamel Dean, who has spent the first four years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Dean is probably the second-best cornerback in this class, and he possesses good enough size and athleticism to attract plenty of attention on the open market. The Vikings pass defense ranked second-worst in the league last year, and it convinced NFL fans during Super Wild Card Weekend that Daniel Jones was the second coming of Josh Allen. Minnesota needs to add to the secondary. Plus, Patrick Peterson, Chandon Sullivan and Kris Boyd are free agents.

After watching Giants quarterback Daniel Jones light up the Vikings in the playoffs, there's no doubt that the secondary is a need — especially with all of the pending free agents.
And Dean would be a nice addition.
Dean was selected by the Buccaneers in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
The former Auburn standout started 15 games for the Bucs this past season and totaled 57 tackles and two interceptions. Dean has seven interceptions during his first four seasons in the NFL.
Dean also had a 77.9 Pro Football Focus grade this past season, which was tied for ninth among all cornerbacks.
It's possible that Tampa Bay extends Dean — they'd be foolish not to try.
But he might prefer to try his luck on the open market. If he does, the Vikings should certainly make a run at the talented cornerback.
