The New Orleans Saints could lose one of their coaches this offseason to one of their biggest rivals, and it would be a move that could make a lot of fans upset.

This time of year is crazy when it comes to all of the different changes happening within teams' coaching staff. Coaches get fired, some get promoted, and others get a better chance or a higher position on another team. That's the beauty of this league.

The Saints could be one of the victims of a team stealing their coach, only this time it's their biggest rival the Carolina Panthers.

The Saints' defense started the season badly in 2022, but a lot of that was due to injuries and getting settled down. The defense ended on a very high note, as one of the best units in the league. So, the Panthers would like to take a look at defensive backs coach Kris Richard.

Richard is a great defensive mind and could be very helpful for the Panthers. But, is that really where the Saints want him going? No, it isn't.

Either way, I think Richard will do great if he gets the job. According to Ian Rapoport, he will have other interviews as well.
