The Tennessee Titans' season came to an early end on Saturday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It was a do or die matchup for the AFC South crown, and the Jaguars got a late turnover that was the difference. Accordingly, the Titans lost their seventh game in a row to give up a massive early-season lead in the division.
The Jaguars certainly deserve credit as well, though. They were one of the most successful teams in the second half of the season in the entire NFL.
Now, there are a lot of questions to be asked surrounding the future of the Titans.
Head Coach Mike Vrabel isn't going anywhere, but staff changes elsewhere will be on the table.
Transitions on both sides of the roster will certainly happen, too. The offensive line needs an overhaul, and they could use new pieces on the backend of the defense as well.
The 2023 NFL Draft will be an important one for the Titans and their new GM.
As of right now, the Titans will pick either 10th or 11th in the first round.
The Titans and their fans will be rooting for the Saints in Week 18 as that will give them a top 10 selection.
They'll possibly pick 11th if the Panthers beat the Saints this weekend. Matchups elsewhere will determine that because of strength of schedule.
The Titans will be picking fairly early in the first in any scenario, and they need that, honestly.
Tennessee desperately needs another offensive tackle. Taylor Lewan may or may not return next season, but the need is massive regardless of his return. That was on full display this season, and it helped to end the Titans' season.
There are plenty of impressive OL options for the Titans and other teams picking in their range in this draft class.
It will be interesting to see how the Titans attack their needs early in the 2023 NFL Draft.
