The Tennessee Titans will have to make plenty of tough decisions this off-season.

Bringing back certain veterans will be key to their success next season. They have some young talent that will need to step up, but veteran depth is always necessary.

Injuries have taught the Titans that plenty over the past two seasons.

There are two pending free agents that the Titans absolutely need to re-sign as soon as possible. They are both veterans on defense that played very well this season.

Andrew Adams, Safety

Adams played the best ball of his entire career this year for the Titans.

He was key on defense for multiple victories that Tennessee snagged. Adams is a former undrafted free agent, and he is thirty years old.

He started ten games for the Titans this season. That was the most starts he had gotten since 2019 with Tampa Bay. He had the most tackles of his career with 60, and he had an interception as well.

Having Adams as a depth defensive back next year would be useful once again.

DeMarcus Walker, EDGE Rusher

Speaking of career years, Walker enjoyed one of those this season for the Titans, too.

Walker recorded seven sacks this year. He had never had more than 4.5 in a season. Walker also had a career high in tackles with 32.

As a player that probably didn't expect as much as he did, he took advantage of opportunities. Injuries to starters gave him a lot more snaps, and he was one of the few rushers that got consistent pressure on the passer.

Bringing him back would be smart for the Titans.

Both of these veterans would be smart financial and roster decisions for Tennessee. The Titans can get production from them at a low cost.
