The Tennessee Titans are making some strong hires for both the front office and coaching staff.

Across the NFL, not everyone can say the same. Interestingly enough, one of the Titans' division rival may make a comical hire.

The Houston Texans are interviewing former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury today.

It seems like that could be an audition for their offensive coordinator position on their new staff.

They recently hired former San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans to be their new head coach. The Texans are looking to hire assistants to round out their staff, but Kingsbury would be a pretty rough choice for an OC.

Kingsbury struggled in his time as HC in Arizona, consistently finding ways to break down in the second half of seasons.

His teams consistently played well to open the year, but always trailed off to finish the season. Accordingly, the Cardinals never won a playoff game under Kingsbury and appeared in just one.

His offense was simply too inconsistent. Now, that would be good news for the Titans if he was to land a job in Houston.

Kingsbury's offense in Arizona had its woes, and that unit had much more star power and overall talent than the current offense in Houston. That may change over the next couple of seasons, but the proof is in the pudding so far for Kingsbury.

It'll be intriguing to see if he grabs the job with the Texans. Titans fans will want to keep a close eye on that hire.
