The Las Vegas Raiders have to make some tough decisions soon. They have a franchise running back who could be heading elsewhere soon. But, based on who the Raiders pick up at quarterback, could have a huge advantage on where Jacobs goes.
The Raiders are parting ways with Derek Carr, so the search for a new quarterback has begun. And, their franchise running back is a free agent.
Josh Jacobs recently said who the Raiders bring in at quarterback could help sway his decision. Well, it was really one particular guy.
"I really don't know," Josh Jacobs said on NFL Network when asked who the Raiders were going to get. "I know that they're looking at a few guys you know, I'm seeing a lot of a lot of things about Aaron Rodgers right now, but I don't know."
"I don't know how it's gonna go, you know, it's weird with the free agency stuff, but I know if Aaron Rodgers does go, it changed a lot of things for me and the way that I put things into perspective, you know, coming back and wanting to make an impact on the team and things like that."
Very, very interesting, to say the least. Let's just start by saying could you imagine an offense with Aaron Rodgers, Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams, Darren Waller, and Hunter Renfrow? That would be an offense that has a chance to be the best in the league.
So, I can completely understand why Jacobs would consider staying even more if that were to happen. The Raiders do need a quarterback though, but they will also need Jacobs.
Let's hope we continue to see Jacobs in silver and black come August.
