The Kansas City Chiefs' expensive defensive end Frank Clark gets a lot of crap for his regular season performances. We all know this because I think all of us have gotten mad about it at least once before.

When I say expensive, I'm referring to everything the Chiefs had to do to get the guy to Kansas City from Seattle. And because of that, anytime the veteran defensive end doesn't do something well, he gets a lot of crap from fans and media.

But, I think we all tend to forget just how dominant he was in the most important postseason of the Chief's franchise history. In 2019, Clark was the best pass-rusher in the playoffs, in my opinion, of course.

In 2019, during the Chiefs' insane playoff run, Clark had five sacks in three games. Against the Texans, he sacked Watson three times and had a sack in each of the next two, and they were clutch sacks, too.

In 2020 Clark had a decent run too, where he had three sacks in three postseason games. But, 2021 was bad, as he didn't register a single sack in three games.

Last week against the Jaguars, Clark had a sack, which was a huge milestone for him for one big reason.

This is a guy who we have always known to be better when his season is on the line. It's just a proven fact. With that sack on Saturday, Clark now has the fourth most postseason sacks in NFL history, as he tied Reggie White with 12. He only sits behind Terrell Suggs (12.5), Bruce Smith (14.4), and Willie McGinest (16).

If he can get four more sacks this postseason, he will be tied for the most postseason sacks ever, which is crazy to even think or say allowed. Let's hope the shark shows up on Sunday against the Bengals because he will be very much needed in the Chiefs' biggest test of the season.
