Broncos: Russell Wilson has a different mindset on the team's play as of late

The Denver Broncos are getting hot at the right time, that is, if they were a playoff team. So, right now it means nothing, honestly. Well, that isn't completely true.
There is still reason to believe that this team could carry over good play from the end of the year into next season. I mean, that's the only thing fans can really hope for at this point.
This team had all the pieces they need to at least compete for a playoff spot. Instead, they will likely finish the season with just for wins, with their last one coming against Arizona.
But, even in some losses, it seems the Broncos are improving on the offensive side of the ball. They have gone toe-to-toe with the Kansas City Chiefs twice now, along with some other good things.
"There were some plays that were made today where you're just like 'Man. These are special guys.' These young guys are building up, the vets are looking really great," Russell Wilson said. "It's just coming together. I know it's a little late, but hopefully, we'll start early next year."
That is exactly what this last game is for, too, building something that will be sustainable enough for next season, even though the entire staff will likely be different.
The Broncos' offense was historically bad. But, the reason everyone was so upset about it is because of the expectation put behind the offense, and the team as a whole.
I know Wilson is a guy that will say nothing but positive things, but this is something fans should take note of. If they are clicking now, they can click next year. That is if they can find the right coach this time.
The Broncos have found something that at least works, whereas their offense before didn't work at all. That's a start. But hey, you know what they say, it's better late than never.
