Nobody in Philadelphia will complain about a home playoff game. That being said, the Eagles have struggled as favorites in playoff games located in the City of Brotherly Love.

The Birds are currently listed as 7.5-point favorites over their NFC East rival, per BetMGM. While it’s nice to see oddsmakers showing the Eagles some respect, Philadelphia has lost its last three home playoff games as the favorite.

The last time the Eagles took care of business at The Linc as a postseason favorite came in 2006 against the Giants. Some might say the Eagles are due, others might worry that recent history will repeat itself.

At the end of the day, the Eagles are the better team. It’s not easy to beat a team three times in the same season, but Philadelphia must pull off the trifecta to march on to the NFC Championship Game.
