The New Orleans Saints needed some good news this week.
They got that for their coaching staff to round out the week. Over the past couple of weeks, there have been plenty of changes on both sides of the ball for the Saints.
There was some worry that one offensive coach, Ronald Curry, may be out the door soon as well. Luckily, that's not the case.
Curry is returning to the Saints to remain as their quarterbacks coach.
Curry is a beloved coach inside the building.
He's been one of their most valued staff pieces for years, and that won't change.
Curry joined the Saints as an offensive assistant in 2016. He transitioned to wide receivers coach in 2018. In 2021, he was named the Saints' QBs coach.
Curry has held a plethora of roles for the Saints, and they have tried their hardest to keep him around. He's gotten looks for promotions over the past couple of years, but he's stayed in New Orleans.
That includes an interview opportunity from the division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers during this off-season. He's turned them all down.
That is awesome news for the Saints and their fans.
