It's been less than 48 hours since the conclusion of Super Bowl LVII, but there are already some major changes going down with the Philadelphia Eagles.
On Tuesday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed what most Philly fans were expecting.
Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen is the new head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.
Steichen served as Philadelphia's offensive coordinator for the past two seasons.
It seems likely that the Eagles will promote quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson to offensive coordinator with Steichen off to Indy.
Johnson has been the Eagles' quarterbacks coach since 2021. In 2020, he was the offensive coordinator at the University of Florida.
The Texas native comes from the Dan Mullen coaching tree (former Mississippi State/Florida head coach). Johnson also played for one season at Utah under Urban Meyer (Mullen was an assistant under Meyer).
Promoting Johnson would allow for important continuity for Jalen Hurts and the offense.
That's not the only big change that could be happening this offseason for the Eagles.
Philly defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon is considered a strong candidate for the Arizona Cardinals head coaching job. So it's very possible that Nick Sirianni has to replace both coordinators this off-season.
If Gannon leaves, the Eagles could promote defensive backs coach/passing game coordinator Dennard Wilson to defensive coordinator.
They could also look outside the organization to make a hire.
Something else to consider is that Steichen and Gannon (if he leaves) could take some assistants with them to their new jobs.
There could be a lot of new faces on Philadelphia's coaching staff next season.
