The Denver Broncos need more firepower on offense.

That's pretty clear, but their biggest need on that side of the ball is the offensive line. That being said, don't be surprised if the Broncos are heavily interested in some of the top free agents at running back.

Javonte Williams will still be recovering from a torn ACL to begin the season. Behind him, there is very little depth.

Once Williams went down last year, the running back position was abysmal for the Broncos.

Sportsbooks believe that Denver may be legit players for the top RB that may be on the market in Saquon Barkley.

Barkley would make sense for Denver as they try to increase their talent on that side of the ball.

Sean Payton would have a field day with an RB like Barkley, but it may hinder their ability to sign multiple impact offensive linemen. That should be the top priority – rather than a top running back like Barkley.

It will be interesting to see what type of contract that Barkley demands, too. It may give the Broncos a forecast into what they could sign one of the other top options at RB for if they miss out on the Giants RB.

We'll see what the Broncos decide to do, but their odds are among the top for the superstar.
