The Philadelphia Eagles likely won't have any issues finding another offensive coordinator, and fitting them into the coaching staff, because of one important detail we need to remember.

The Eagles had one of the best coaching staff in the league this past year. In fact, I'd say they had the best. They were the most all-around team in the league, and both of their coordinators ended up getting head coaching jobs shortly after the Super Bowl. That alone says something.

Now it's time to start looking for who will replace Jonathan Gannon, the defensive coordinator, and Shane Steichen, the offensive coordinator.

Finding a defensive coordinator will be a bit more trickier than finding an offensive coordinator, for one reason.

The offensive coordinator job is easier to fill, not because there are better candidates for the position, but because this is already Nick Sirianni's offense. So, there will be no time period for installing a new offense, a new playbook, or any of that.

The new offensive coordinator would not necessarily have to install a philosophy as one is already in place. The defensive coordinator cannot necessarily say the same since Sirianni is an offensive guy.

Sure, he can keep some things the same as he likes on defense, but that will be a whole new system for the most part, at least that's what I think.

Plus, it seems like Sirianni is a guy that you would want to coach for. I mean, he is a guy that you would want to play for, why wouldn't he be a guy that you would want to coach for.

It seemed both Steichen and Gannon loved coaching under Sirianni. And, I think most fans have faith that Sirianni will make the right hires, considering he obviously did the first time.
