The Las Vegas Raiders need a quarterback, and that isn't a secret. With everything that has been going on between Derek Carr and the organization, it's clear that will happen soon. Getting the right guy at quarterback can do a lot for this franchise too.
There are a ton of things the Raiders should have on their checklist this off-season. But, one of the biggest things is re-signing franchise running back Josh Jacobs. One thing that could help him make his decision easier, is getting the guy that has been rumored to end up with the Raiders at quarterback.
"I ain't going to lie. I feel like that will change a lot of dynamics for me," Jacobs said on Aaron Rodgers joining the team. "You know, especially with just like the contract talks and everything. I feel like when you bring certain guys in the building and you're willing to do things a little differently. So it's definitely, it definitely will be a great day."
If Rodgers was to think about coming to Las Vegas, Jacobs has the perfect pitch for him.
"I would say, man, first off, you have the best receiver in the game, you know," Jacobs continued. "You are in Las Vegas, you know, a great market, no state taxes, keep a lot of your money, and then you got a group of coaches that are, that are very understanding that will allow you to play your best, but also be who you are. So I think that that would be a great fit."
The Rodgers fit would be perfect, not to mention if he was to come, Jacobs would likely be back too.
I think the Raiders know now what they need to do, especially after Davante Adams and Jacobs have been campaigning for the move for the last two weeks.
