The Denver Broncos roster is nearly set for what it will look like in the 2023 season. They addressed needs everywhere in the offseason, and on paper, are a much better team.

Now we have to see who will play and who won't. With the new additions, it can be difficult to project who will start, or even play and who wont especially with all the rookies on this roster. So with that being said, let's see if we can go ahead and predict will will make the 53-man roster and who will not.

Quarterback (2)

IN: Russell Wilson, Jarrett Stidham
OUT:

The skinny: The quarterback position is pretty much set in stone for the time being. The Broncos love the two guys they have at the position, especially Jarrett Stidham as the backup. They believe that if he needs to step in he can get the job doe.

Running back (3)

IN: Samaje Perine, Damarea Crockett, Tyler Badie, Javonte Williams
OUT: Javonte Williams (hurt) Tyreik McAllister, Jaleel McLaughlin**, Emanuel Wilson**

The skinny: The running back room definitely could have used a little more work, especially when you think that for the start of the season they will have Crockett as the running back two. Not great, but not bad either.

Full back (1)

IN: Mike Burton

The skinny: Mike Burton will make the roster, because he doesn't have any comp within the position. And, Sean Payton loves to use fullbacks.

OUT: Jalen Virgil, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, K.J. Hamler (hurt)

Tight end (4)

IN: Greg Dulcich, Chris Manhertz, Nate Adkins**, Adam Trautman

OUT: Albert Okwuegbunam, Kris Leach**

The skinny: I honestly thin that Adkins can make the 53-man roster, especially after seeing how bad Albert O was last season. They wanted a tight end in the draft, but instead picked two UDFAs up. lets see if they can make the roster.

Offensive line (10)

IN: Garrett Bowles, Ben Powers, Lloyd Cushenberry, Quinn Meinerz, Mike McGlinchey, Quinn Bailey, Will Sherman, Alex Forsyth*, Isaiah Prince
OUT: Christian DiLauro, Hunter Thedford, Casey Tucker, Parker Ferguson. Henry Byrd**, Alex Palczewski**, Luke Wattenberg

The skinny: The Broncos didn't do much, or anything hardly, to their offensive line but draft one guy in Alex Forsyth in the seventh round. He will make the roster but none of the UDFAs will.

Defensive line (6)

IN: Zach Allen, D.J. Jones, Mike Purcell, Jonathan Harris, Eyioma Uwazurike
OUT: Matt Henningsen, Jordan Jackson, Elijah Garcia, PJ Mustipher**

The skinny: This group still needs some work in my opinion, but for the most part, they look pretty solid. Of course the unit will be headlined around Jones and Allen, but some of the other guys like Purcell can make some noise this year.

EDGE/Outside linebacker (5)

IN: Baron Browning, Randy Gregory, Nik Bonitto, Jake Martin, Jonathan Cooper
OUT: Christopher Allen, Aaron Patrick, Marcus Haynes**, Thomas Incoom**

The skinny: The Broncos didn't address this position in the draft, which was the right decision. This group is good to go, especially when you factor in another year of Browning and Bonitto under their belt.

Inside linebacker (4)

IN: Josey Jewell, Alex Singleton, Jonas Griffith, Drew Sanders *
OUT: Ray Wilborn, Justin Strnad, Seth Benson**

The skinny: It will be crazy to see Strnad not make it because he got some playing time last season, but at the same time, they drafted Sanders to play him, not sit him.

Cornerback (5)

IN: Patrick Surtain II, Damarri Mathis, K'Waun Williams, Riley Moss*, Tremon Smith
OUT: Delonte Hood, Faion Hicks, Ja'Quan McMillan, Essang Bassey, Art Green**, Darrious Gaines**

The skinny: It will be sad seeing Bassey not make the roster because if you follow this team you know hos much of a hard workr he is. But, at the same time, I just refuse to believe the Broncos would sit the guy they just drafted in Moss. Bassey is just the odd man out. I think Art Green will be a guy to watch in training camp.

OUT: Devon Key, Delarrin Turner-Yell, Devon Matthews**

The skinny: The Broncos will likely want their rookie safety Skinner on the 53-man roster, but don't be surprised if you see a guy like Devon Matthews from Indiana make some headlines.

OUT: 

The skinny: This is going to be the group they rock with all year barring any injuries. They are confident in special teams heading into the 2023 season.
