If we know anything about the quarterbacks in the NFL, it's that they need help at the WR and HC position to be successful. Something the New York Giants think they have found with the latter, as questions still raise about the former.

So while Daniel Jones is often the topic of critical conversation, he hasn't let what the outsiders say bother him.

In fact, according to some of his teammates, the new offense has produced a new Daniel Jones, giving him the one trait that the best QBs possess in droves:

In a recent interview with the Giants Huddle Podcast, quarterback(s) Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor sat down with Big Blue's media department to discuss all things offense. Taylor noted how continuity has helped every player but especially Daniel Jones:

"Obviously more confident, not that he lacked confidence at all,"  Taylor said on behalf of Daniel Jones in year two of Daboll's offense. "I would just say whenever you're in a system for the returning year, obviously you're comfortable within what you have to do. Obviously, there's always ways to be better and things to get better at, and I think he's attacked each and every one of those areas of his game, full steam ahead this offseason and just try to be better in every aspect."

What Daniel Jones has finally unlocked is real confidence. When you have as many head coaches and play-callers as years in the league, that's a recipe for disaster. Add in some bad offensive lines here, and a rag-tag group of wideouts there, and it's wonder how Jones ever looked as good as he has.

"I think a big piece of it is just seeing certain concepts multiple times against more looks and you're maybe a little quicker to recognize things in certain situations," Jones said about year two in the offense. "I think you have a better understanding of what you like and what you don't like within the system, and certain plays and certain concepts that you may like more than you thought, or you don't like as much as you thought you did. So, I think all that kind of stuff and just the more reps the better. So, that's the biggest thing."

Jones, Daboll, and Kafka (OC) have worked together all offseason to be better in tune as a trio. Daboll surprised some last year when he opted out of calling plays, but his fingerprints are all over the offense, helping create what will be one of the most improved units in the league this year in my opinion.

Continuity breeds comfortability which then parlays into confidence. As much as we think football is just plays on a whiteboard, it's a people business at the end of the day. Relationships mean everything, as does the headspace of your most important player on the team.

So don't be surprised if come the end of 2023 you look up and Daniel Jones has his best season yet, potentially earning his first-ever trip to the Pro Bowl.

If he does you'll know why:

Confidence.
