The New York Giants boast one of the most dominant defensive fronts in the league.
After an offseason that saw them acquire names like "Nacho" Roches and A'Shawn Robinson, the stellar duo of Leonard Willams and Dexter Lawrence just got some reinforcements.
But according to a recent survey done by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, one of those two isn't so highly regarded anymore:
DT Leonard Williams

In his annual sit-down with NFL coaches, scouts, and executives, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler ranks the top 10 players at every position as voted on by NFL personnel.
Well, the NFL had some bad news for Leonard Williams, who found himself outside of the league's top 10 defensive tackles, generating a mere honorable mention.
"Still some tread left on tires, not what he used to be," an NFL personnel evaluator told Fowler. "He's been a force, probably not quite the same guy but still productive. Not done by any stretch."
It seems this NFL evaluator that talked to Fowler is kind of sitting on the fence here. Apparently, Williams is "not the same guy," yet "isn't done by any stretch." Both can be true, as maybe he's saying to just temper the expectations on Williams in 2023.
But I believe the contrary. This is a contract year for Williams who just turned 29, and is still in his prime. Coming off a season that saw him miss the most games of his career, I expect a healthy and hungry Williams to show his best.
