Will Levis did not suit up for the Titans against the Vikings this past weekend. It was reported that Levis was dealing with an injury, and Malik Willis would be the only signal-caller suiting up.

Levis spoke with reporters after practice on Monday about why he sat out. "I had something happen in practice that, ya know, just came up," explained the rookie. "And (I) went to the medical staff and I'm just following their directions in the best way to attack it and get better."

Levis never specified the type of injury, but did say it was "nothing serious."

Levis was also asked if he was planning on playing in the preseason finale.

"That's what I'm aiming for," stated Levis. "I don't know anything about a timeline, but I'm just going to take it one day at a time." Levis also said he was "definitely down" when he learned he would have to sit out, but credited Mike Vrabel with helping him accept it.

With Levis out, Malik Willis played the entire game, save for a few snaps. Willis went 10/17 for 85 yards with one TD and one INT.

Levis will hopefully have one more chance to impress this summer. The Titans are playing host to the New England Patriots on Friday to wrap up the preseason.
