Cleveland Browns lost more than a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, they lost one of their best players for the season in Week 2.
With Nick Chubb going to the injured reserve with a season-ending knee injury, the other big worry on the injury report entering the week was cornerback Greg Newsome and where that injury stands.
Newsome is joined by wide receiver Amari Cooper (groin, shoulder) and defensive end Za’Darius Smith (ankle, thigh) not practicing.
Yesterday, head coach Kevin Stefanski called the injury ‘day-to-day’ with Newsome’s elbow. He and Denzel Ward both had to exit against the Steelers but were able to return a short time later.
Smith had to leave the game on Monday night as well, but he too was able to return to the field of play.
Late in the week of practice last week, Cooper pulled his groin but was still able to play against the Steelers.
Full injury report for both teams below.
