The Cleveland Browns will again be without their starting quarterback in Week 8.

When the Cleveland Browns travel to take on the Seattle Seahawks, quarterback Deshaun Watson will not play. After taking a tough hit in his first game back against the Indianapolis Colts last week, it’s the route the Browns are taking.

Other starters out during Wednesday’s practice are; RB Jerome Ford (ankle), WR Marquise Goodwin (back), RB Kareem Hunt (thigh), TE David Njoku (knee), and LB Sione Takitaki (hamstring).

P.J. Walker will make his second start for the Browns, though it is essentially his third game after playing most of the way against the Colts. So far on the season, Walker has thrown three interceptions despite making a couple of important throws.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski remained adamant that there is no structural damage for Watson and that he will continue to work his way back.

Cleveland is without Ford this week against the Seahawks, as he will miss a week or two with a sprained ankle. So the Browns will be down their starting quarterback and running back against the Seahawks.

Hunt did not practice but is in like to be the starter in Week 8 with Ford out.
