Thursday's injury report had some newcomers that would be concerning if they cannot play this week.
The Colts will already be without rookie Juju Brents, and things are looking bleak for starting RT Braden Smith. The team also saw rookies Josh Downs and Blake Freeland join the injury report unexpectedly after Thursday's practice. Their status' is crucial to watch for when the team posts their injury report following Friday's practice.
Friday Injury Report:
Questionable:
- Zaire Franklin
- Blake Freeland
- Josh Downs
- Rodney Thomas II
Both of Franklin and Freeland were not able to practice at all this week (Wednesday was a walk through), and both are game time decisions. Downs and Thomas II were late additions to the injury report this week which makes there status' even more unknown in my opinion. Depth wise the player to watch for is Freeland, because if he has to miss this game the Colts will be down to their 3rd string tackle, which they don't have. So they would have to move someone like Arlington Hambright over from guard.
Out:
- Juju Brents
- Braden Smith
For a 2nd consecutive week the Colts will be without both Juju Brents and Braden Smith. For what to expect at those positions check out the piece below.
