The Pittsburgh Steelers have been the talk of the NFL over the last 48 hours.

And while it's easy to get caught up in all the drama surrounding Matt Canada's firing, the Steelers have a huge game in just a few days.

Here is how they look on the health front after the first day of Bengals week:

Steelers Injury Report Week 12, Wednesday

Injury Report Observations:

  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: Still nursing a hamstring injury, Coach T said Minkah has been battling to get back to health, but he has yet to return to practice. On Tuesday, Coach T said the team was still optimistic that Minkah would return for this week's game. On Wednesday, Minkah was still a non-participant, meaning things will need to change starting tomorrow if he is to play.
  • Monatvius Adams: Adams is still working through a bad ankle that caused him to miss all of the Packers and Browns games. His availability on Wednesday was limited which is at least a sign in the right direction.
  • George Pickens: A rare edition, Pickens popped up on the report out of nowhere. We will gain more clarity on the severity of the shin injury as the week goes on but right now a DNP isn't exactly encouraging.
