The Pittsburgh Steelers received better-than-expected news regarding the injury status of a valuable WR.

Steelers Sign WR Jacob Copelaand, Release DB Jalen Elliot

This is Copeland's second stint on the Steelers practice squad this season. Copeland was signed to the practice squad ahead of the Week 2 game against the Cleveland Browns and released on Oct. 3.

Copeland originally signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft. He was released by the Titans, later signing with the Minnesota Vikings during training camp. Copeland was released prior to the start of the regular season. – Teresa Varley, Steelers

So we'll see if Copeland can stick in Pittsburgh this time. He has all the tools to to be an NFL WR, but it takes more than elite traits to be featured in professional offenses.

Hopefully Copeland makes the most of his second chance, becoming a staple on the backend of Pittsburgh's roster going forward.
