An ankle injury suffered Thursday will force Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt to sit out a second straight game.
Head coach Zac Taylor confirmed that Taylor-Britt, who was already dealing with a quad injury, sprained his ankle in practice and has been declared out for Monday Night Football.
Cincinnati will roll out the same plan at cornerback this week with rookie DJ Turner II and Chidobe Awuzie starting. Awuzie, who had been rotating with Turner for most of this season, played a season-high 69 snaps last week with Taylor-Britt out.
Defensive tackle Jay Tufele was also absent from Saturday's practice with an illness. Tufele has normally been a healthy scratch, so this shouldn't impact the Bengals' inactives list.
Practicing for a full week confirms both wide receiver Tee Higgins and linebacker Logan Wilson will suit up. Higgins has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury, and Wilson sprained his ankle last Sunday.
Quarterback Jake Browning is also good to go despite dealing with a wrist injury. Browning was a full participant all week.
