Current Trends:
Titans:
The Titans are 4-7 entering Week 13 and are coming off their first win in their last four games over the Carolina Panthers, 17-10. They are 4th in the AFC South, two games behind the Colts and Houston Texans at 6-5. The Titans came in at 24th on A to Z Sports' Week 13 Power Rankings. According to Pro Football Focus, the Titans have graded out as the 25th-best offense and the 26th-best defense in the NFL this season.
Colts:
The Colts are 6-5 entering Week 13 and are currently on a three-game winning streak. They are 2nd in the AFC South, two games behind Jacksonville Jaguars at 8-3. The Colts also entered the AFC Playoff Picture last week, as they currently sit as the 7th seed in the AFC. The Colts came in at 15th on A to Z Sports' Week 13 Power Rankings. According to Pro Football Focus, the Colts have graded out as the 24th-best offense and the 18th-best defense in the NFL this season.
Opponent Player Spotlight of the Week:
Will Levis
While the Colts won the first matchup, things will be slightly different as rookie QB Will Levis is now the team's starting QB. Levis has had his ups and downs so far this season, but it's undeniable that the Titans' offense is more dynamic with him under center. The Colts will have to watch out for the deep ball more than they did with veteran Ryan Tannehill, who relied on WR DeAndre Hopkins a ton in the first matchup as the duo connected for eight receptions for 140 yards.
Colts Player Spotlight of the Week:
Julian Blackmon:
With the deep ball being a more significant part of the Titans offense, I think the Colts safety could be in for a busy Week 13. Rodney Thomas II is typically the Colts deep safety, but I think Julian Blackmon will be a pivotal player to watch today. Levis does look to stretch the field with his arm strength, but he also uses it to attempt to fit a throw in tight windows in the middle of the field. The Colts allow Blackmon to use his instincts quite often, and I believe he will be the player that needs to make a play in these situations.
