• Ball Skills
  Easily elevates in jump ball situations with excellent timing. Can track the ball deep over his shoulder and win with late hands
• Physicality
  Can body smaller corners both off the line and at the catch point. Built like a lean tight end
• Acceleration/Deep Speed
  Excellent burst off the snap and elite takeoff to dust corners and get into blindspots/turn safeties around in an instant
• Suddenness
  Surprising fluidity in his hip drop. Can touch grass and get back up on return routes and get in and out on in-breakers

Cons

• MA’s
  Occasionally has mental lapses. Primarily shows up in blocking assignments where either effort or assignment is questionable
• Lateral agility
  Stiff ankles mitigate his ability to cut against the grain or make defenders miss in 1v1 situations

Eval:

While Legette is built like a prototype for the perimeter, South Carolina utilized his skill set in multiple alignments and recognized the ball in his hands is always a good thing.

Legette’s innate ball skills and physicality make him a jump ball merchant, turning 50-50 balls in his favor.

Despite displaying surprising fluidity to get in and out of breaks, Legette is best on vertical patterns, making one cut and getting up the field. Teams looking for a static X on the backside of 3×1 formations as a pure ball winner and deep threat will covet Legette in the draft.
