We're in the stretch run of the college football season as each game becomes more crucial than the last. Teams will need to be on upset alert, especially those hoping to get to the College Football Playoff.

Here are our underdog picks that could win outright in Week 13.

*Odds subject to change

Kansas Jayhawks OVER No. 16 Colorado Buffaloes (+115 moneyline) – bet365

The Jayhawks are rolling, upsetting ranked opponents in each of their last two games (Iowa State and BYU). They are playing hard as they need to win out in order to be bowl eligible. Quarterback Jalon Daniels has really emerged over the last few weeks, minimizing mistakes and making plays both with his arm and legs.

Kansas' strong secondary matches up well against Colorado's passing attack. Yes, the Jayhawks have a 4-6 record, but five of their six losses this year have come by six points or less. They will also have home field advantage in this game playing at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.

No. 14 BYU Cougars OVER No. 21 Arizona State Sun Devils (+120 moneyline) – FanDuel

BYU is ranked seven spots higher than Arizona State, but are three-point road underdogs in this matchup. The Cougars are coming off an upset loss to Kansas last week, but were undefeated up until that point and have the talent to bounce back. They still have a ton to play for as they are in the mix for the Big 12 Championship game and the College Football Playoff.

BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff is a threat as a runner and passer, and does a great job of taking care of the ball. Arizona State has a subpar run defense, and Retzlaff has scored a rushing touchdown in three of his last four games. This should be a tight contest, but the Cougars are no strangers to that, winners of four one-possession games this season.

Virginia Cavaliers OVER No. 12 SMU Mustangs (-290 moneyline) – DraftKings

Virginia has a subpar 5-5 record, but has played a pretty tough schedule. The Cavaliers were able to defeat Pittsburgh two weeks ago as 7.5-point underdogs. The Mustangs have been letting their opponents hang around, failing to cover the spread in two of their last three games. Virginia is playing hard to be bowl eligible, and Saturday's matchup against SMU is Senior Day and their last home game of the season.
