The decision to play starters in Week 18 will be a big topic of conversation for the Green Bay Packers. During the first quarter, wide receiver Christian Watson left the game with a non-contact knee injury.
He was carted off the field to the locker room. The Packers immediately declared him questionable to return, and he was ruled out right after halftime.
With Watson injured and Romeo Doubs out with an illness, the Packers only had Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, and Malik Heath left at the wide receiver position.
More reason for concern
Minutes after Watson's injury, quarterback Jordan Love also left the game. Initially, it appeared to be a hand or finger injury, but the Packers listed him as questionable to return with an elbow injury.
With Malik Willis on the field, the Packers scored their first touchdown of the afternoon — a Josh Jacobs run after a big pass play from Willis to Tucker Kraft.
