Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman “dodged a bullet” at Cleveland Browns training camp this week after an injury scare

Tillman, who is entering his third season with the Browns, left practice early on Friday after suffering an apparent lower leg injury.

Fortunately for Tillman (and for the Browns), the former Vol was back at practice on Saturday morning.

“I think we dodged a bullet there,” said Browns head coach. coach Kevin Stefanski on Saturday before practice.

Tillman is expected to play a key role in Cleveland's offense in 2025.

The Las Vegas native showed his potential as an NFL playmaker with an impressive three-game stretch last season, catching 21 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns.

Tillman missed the final six games of the regular season after he was placed on IR due to a concussion he suffered in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
