Former Georgia Bulldogs stars wildly embarrass themselves and school as they act shamefully in Eagles versus Cowboys NFL kickoff
Yikes!
The 2025 NFL season kicked off on Thursday night with the Dallas Cowboys taking on the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Stadium, which has been far from boring.
Both teams carry Georgia Bulldogs products, who made it known in the worst way possible.
Just six seconds into the game, Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter was tossed from the game for unsportsmanlike conduct after spitting in Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s face. He also drew a 15-yard penalty for Philly.
According to reports, this moment happened because Carter overreacted to Prescott spitting on the ground in his direction.
“Some more context on the Jalen Carter spitgate: According to two people with knowledge of the ordeal, Dak Prescott spit on the ground in the general vicinity of the Eagles defensive huddle. Carter thought it was hostile. While Prescott was explaining it wasn’t, Carter spit back,” Nick Harris of the Star Telegram reported.
In addition to Carter, Cowboys wide receiver and fellow Dawg George Pickens was hit with unnecessary roughness on Eagles safety Reed Blankenship, which resulted in a 15-yard penalty.
These kinds of penalties will be followed by some hefty fines that will be posted on Saturday afternoon.
This marks Carter’s first time being ejected from a game and his 15th penalty, while Pickens has now reached 16.
