Arkansas Razorbacks running back Mike Washington gave the Tennessee Vols some big-time bulletin board material earlier this week.

Washington told reporters while previewing this weekend’s matchup between the Razorbacks and the Vols that Tennessee’s defense has some “holes”.

Tennessee’s defense has had some struggles this season — the Vols have the No. 103 scoring defense in the nation — but it’s a prideful group of players that almost certainly wants to make a statement after that comment from Washington.

Washington’s comments have been making the rounds on social media over the last two days, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Tennessee’s defense is well aware of the quote.

“Mike Washington, Arkansas running back who transferred from New Mexico State, had a comment that he put out about the Tennessee defense,” said Voice of the Vols Mike Keith on The Mike Keith Show on Thursday.

“I’m told Vol defenders are aware of it,” continued Keith. “Quote, unquote — they are aware of this comment.”

Washington said it should be a fun game on Saturday. I have a feeling he’s going to be right, but it may not be the type of “fun” he was anticipating
