A coveted 2026 four-star defensive recruit is reportedly set to visit the Tennessee Vols later this season.

According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, 2026 four-star edge rusher Dre Quinn will take an official visit to Tennessee on November 29 for the Vols’ game against the Vanderbilt Commodores (UT’s final game of the regular season).

Quinn also has an official visit scheduled to Ohio State (November 15) and an unofficial visit to Miami (October 25).

“I just feel like I fit in their defense well,” said Quinn to On3 of his interest in the Vols. “I have a great relationship with Coach Scott, Coach Heupel, and Coach Banks. Pretty much most of the staff, we’ve talked a lot about me coming in and playing early. I just think I fit well in their scheme.”

Dre Quinn recently decommitted from the Clemson Tigers

Quinn, 6-foot-4/228 lbs from Buford, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 38 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 34 edge rusher in the nation.

The four-star recruit committed to Clemson in June, but he decommitted from the Tigers late last month.

Quinn’s decommitment from Clemson came less than two weeks after he took an unofficial visit to Tennessee for the Volunteers’ overtime loss to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Tennessee currently has 24 players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 8 in the nation.
