Former AFC West rival who has immense hatred for the Chiefs let everyone know what’s really going on with Kansas City
The Kansas City Chiefs must not always be the most hated team in the NFL if Aqib Talib is showing that kind of respect.
When you’re a dynasty, everyone hates you. No one likes seeing someone else that isn’t them, or isn’t their team, winning. The Kansas City Chiefs are easily the most hated NFL team in the league, and have been the last few years – it isn’t close.
With that comes all of the talking heads in the media or on TV calling for the dynasty to be over. But, if you have watched this team the last three weeks, it’s clear the dynasty isn’t over, yet anyway. One former AFC West rival, CB Aqib Talib, agrees.
“The Chiefs are definitely underrated, man. It’s always the dynasty is over. They had no WRs and were battling through the top teams in the league, the Chargers, the Eagles, the Jaguars, & the Lions. Those are all playoff teams right now. Now we’ll see the real Chiefs offense once Rashee Rice returns. I’m a Broncos fan; the only team I fear in the AFC is the Chiefs,” former Denver Broncos defender Talib said.
Chiefs are just getting heated up
Over the last three weeks, there hasn’t been a hotter offense in the NFL. Now, they haven’t won all of those games, as they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars after beating the Baltimore Ravens. However, beating the Detroit Lions in the way they did carries a ton of weight. The Chiefs may be the best 3-3 team we have ever seen.
It says something about the rest of the NFL world that thinks the game is rigged for the Chiefs if someone who was made to hate the Chiefs when he was with the Broncos is showing them respect. You know, Talib’s comments made a lot of Broncos fans mad, too.
Every single game from here on out is winnable. There is not one game left on the Chiefs’ schedule where you can say the Chiefs will lose or that they should lose. The way they look right now, and with Rashee Rice coming back against the Las Vegas Raiders, they could end up becoming the best team in the NFL.
Even the people who hate Kansas City know that.
