Josh Allen’s epic TD celebration against Chiefs got a Hailee Steinfeld upgrade from CBS
Power couple!!
The CBS broadcast playing some Hailee Steinfeld after the Josh Allen touchdown was just, chef’s kiss.
With Kansas City coming to town, it gave them plenty of opportunities to have Taylor Swift playing during the contest, but that wasn’t the case as the Bills took care of business and made life difficult for Patrick Mahomes.
And it’s perfect timing, as Allen and Steinfeld went viral for hilarious Halloween costumes shortly before. But now the happy couple is making waves for their connection on (sort of) the football field. Whoever decided to quickly slot in the Steinfeld song deserves a raise, and Allen deserves a whole lot of credit for what he was able to do in the victory.
Specifically, the broadcast showed a clip of Allen celebrating his rushing touchdown in the third quarter by spiking the ball, and in the background, Steinfeld’s song “Love Myself” was playing.
Fans were loving this!
“Whoever decided to play a Hailee Steinfeld during a Josh Allen TD replay commercial break sequence should get a raise,” one person posted on X
“Hailee Steinfeld music into the break at CBS >>>>>,” another fan wrote.
Once again, the reigning MVP reminded the league that he’s here to stay with his dominant performance. It was just a bonus that his wife, in a way, got in on the fun as well. When he gets home, it’s safe to say the two will likely share a laugh over the whole thing.
What was Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s Halloween costume?
During the Buffalo Bills‘ appearance earlier this year on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” Allen was seen quoting lines from famous comedies over the years, including several from Adam Sandler, and Allen might have even said “Big Daddy” was one of his favorites.
However, the quarterback and his wife, Hailee, went with another Sandler classic, “The Waterboy.” In the movie, Sandler’s character plays a waterboy who then gets a chance to get on the field and dominate.
Steinfeld shared the photo of her and her husband in the costumes during her latest newsletter for her Beau Society outlet, in which Allen is dressed as the title character Bobby Boucher, while Steinfeld dressed up as Boucher’s love interest Vicki Vallencourt and was holding a South Central Louisiana State University hat and her “Want Me To Kill Them?” sign.
