Speculation runs rampant that a Super Bowl appearance is in the cards for the Bills this season due to this perfect connection
It seems like fate at this point!
I’m not superstitious, but I’m a little sticious.
Both Michael Scott from “The Office” and offensive coordinator Joey Brady share the same sentiment, as Brady made the comments after practice following the Bills’ Week 9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Bills and Chiefs matchup is one that fans know will likely pop back up again in January when it’s time for the playoffs, and Buffalo’s commanding win was a good sign. However, while they have won all the regular-season games against Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen has been unable to beat him in the playoffs. But maybe this is finally the year.
Specifically because making it to the big game always has plenty of storylines, and the Bills already have a big one with half of the regular season remaining.
There is an incredible tradition that occurs at Highmark Stadium where they play “Mr. Brightside” with the Bills Mafia joining in on the fun heading into the second half. And now, Buffalo has a tie to the Super Bowl that if they were to make it, would be just a little extra special.
The NFL announced that the Killers will be performing Saturday night at Super Bowl LX, and it’s safe to say that “Mr. Brightside” will almost certainly be on the setlist.
Not putting the cart before the horse, but the Bills are a Super Bowl or bust type team, and it’s fun to think ahead. Since The Killers will be performing during the Super Bowl festivities, the Bills making it just seems like destiny at this point.
Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo hilariously jokes with Josh Allen after Week 9 win
As Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo walked up to Josh Allen after Sunday’s game, he had a hilarious message for the Bills quarterback.
“I don’t want to play you anymore,” Spagnuolo said. “I want you to retire! Nice job.”
After the game, when speaking to reporters, Allen also took a moment to praise the defensive coordinator.
“No, he’s awesome,” Allen said. “After the game, we always kind of share a quick little, I wouldn’t say embrace, but a quick little tap, whatever it is. Got a lot of respect for him, he’s one of the best in the business, if not the best in the business. Shows you a lot of different looks and he knows how to call a football game, that’s for sure.”
