The Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys have released their final injury reports of the week ahead of their Week 13 Thanksgiving Day game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Just as the first injury reports for each club were estimates, the Chiefs held only a walkthrough before the team’s trip to Dallas. Their injury report is, once again, estimated based on what they expect would happen during a typical practice session.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the final injury report, complete with game status designations, for both teams. Keep in mind that clubs can make additions to the final injury report all the way up until kickoff on Thursday.

Observations

  • Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco carries no game status designation for Week 13. He’ll make his return to action from an MCL sprain after three consecutive full participation practices. This should help, given Kareem Hunt had 30 carries in Week 12 and played more offensive snaps than in any other game in his NFL career.
  • Chiefs starting RG Trey Smith has been ruled out with a high and low ankle sprain. Mike Caliendo will replace him in the starting lineup.
  • Chiefs No. 2 tight end Noah Gray being out with a concussion likely means that we’ll see Texas native Jared Wiley active alongside Robert Tonyan and Travis Kelce.
  • Quietly, Chris Roland-Wallace has been a key piece on the defensive side of the ball for Kansas City, playing the slot corner position and keeping Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson on the field together. We could see a lot of Chamarri Conner in the slot this week as a result, which isn’t a good thing.

Observations

  • As expected, Tyler Guyton has been ruled out with a high ankle sprain. Nate Thomas will start in his place at left tackle. It won’t be a significant drop-off, and some Cowboys fans even seem to prefer Thomas to Guyton.
  • Starting LCB Caelen Carson has a questionable designation after injuring his hamstring in practice on Tuesday. I’d expect him to be a game-time decision for Thursday.
  • George Pickens is good to go for Thursday, which is probably the biggest news for Dallas.
