The Buffalo Bills pulled out all the stops in the second half to defeat the New England Patriots. Buffalo was down 21 points, but thanks to a valiant effort from quarterback Josh Allen and the offense, Buffalo walked away with a victory.

Everyone had ruled Buffalo out of the game by halftime. It was an ugly showing with Allen only having four total yards in the first quarter, and the Patriots, led by quarterback Drake Maye, seemed to be doing whatever they wanted to Buffalo’s defense.

However, one of the bigger storylines coming from the game was a viral moment with Allen, who got sick on the sideline. Fans immediately feared the worst, that their quarterback was ill, but Allen quickly shut down those rumors with his postgame comments.

Allen’s viral sideline moment draws national attention

“That’s, I mean, if they don’t catch it every game, I don’t know,” Allen said. “It basically happens every game. If I don’t get enough out pregame, it usually happens at halftime. If I don’t get enough at halftime, it usually happens in the third or fourth quarter. I don’t know why I do it; it just happens. It is due to nothing else other than just a weird feeling, gotta get it out.”

Bills Mafia knows all too well Allen’s bizarre pregame routine that has been highlighted more than once throughout his career. Allen is known to throw up before every single game, but it seemed like, in this case, he didn’t get everything out in time. It is gross, but at least the reigning MVP is honest.

Late in the contest, Allen took a hit and was down on the ground for a bit, once again stoking fears that the franchise quarterback might have gotten hurt. Fortunately, he shut down any rumors surrounding his health immediately after the win.

“No, all good,” Allen said.

Allen is Superman. He can do whatever he wants

While it’s probably not a good sign that he is throwing up so much, if this is what it takes for him to play at the level he is playing, then get some puke bags on deck for the poor guy.

Allen was Superman in the win over the Patriots, putting the team on his back and showing up in some of the biggest moments. He finished his day doing damage with his arm and his legs, going 19-of-28 for 193 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 11 carries for 48 yards on the ground.

The moment went viral, but the result mattered most. Allen shrugged off the noise, powered through another scare, and authored yet another comeback. It was proof, once again, that when things get uncomfortable, Buffalo’s quarterback is right at home.
