As Davante Adams once said, “wash your hand, wash your butt.” Six players from the Green Bay Packers active 53-man roster were listed as questionable to play versus the Baltimore Ravens due to an illness — it’s that time of the year. Outside of cornerback/wide receiver Bo Melton, though, all of them have other injuries as well.

Despite those issues, quarterback Malik Willis (shoulder), wide receiver Christian Watson (shoulder), center Sean Rhyan (knee), left guard Aaron Banks (neck), and Melton are all active to play. Wide receiver Savion Williams, who’s also handling a foot injury, is out.

Packers’ Week 17 inactives

  • QB Jordan Love
  • EDGE Collin Oliver
  • RT Zach Tom
  • WR Savion Williams
  • DT Nazir Stackhouse
  • EDGE Barryn Sorrell

Huge defensive piece is back

After missing the Bears game with a knee injury, safety Evan Williams is back. It’s a huge development, because it allows Javon Bullard to get back to playing in the slot.

Running back Josh Jacobs had already been taken off the injury report on Thursday, a confirmation that he would play despite his knee injury.

Problem along the offensive line

While Aaron Banks and Sean Rhyan are active, right tackle Zach Tom will miss another game with a knee injury he suffered in Denver two weeks ago. Last week, former first-round pick Jordan Morgan started at right tackle, so that’s the expectation for the Ravens game as well — Darian Kinnard serves as the sixth offensive lineman. Rookie edge defender Barryn Sorrell and Collin Oliver are both healthy scratches, as well as defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse.

Quarterback Jordan Love (concussion) and rookie guard John Williams (back) had already been ruled out, while linebacker Kristian Welch was placed on injured reserve.

The Packers play the Ravens on Saturday night still hoping to compete for the NFC North title. If the Packers beat the Ravens and the Minnesota Vikings, while the Chicago Bears lose to the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions in their final two games, the Packers would win the division for the first time since 2021.

Other side

As expected, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is out with a back injury. Tyler Huntley is expected to start.
