A former Tennessee Vols assistant coach went viral on Thursday night during the Miami Hurricanes’ win against the Ole Miss Rebels in the College Football Playoff semifinals/Fiesta Bowl.

Miami wide receivers coach Kevin Beard went to celebrate the win a few moments too early, which drew the ire of Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal.

Check it out.

Beard, who played at Miami and is in his third season as the Hurricanes’ wide receivers coach, served as Tennessee’s wide receivers coach in 2017 — which was Butch Jones’ final season as the Vols’ head coach.

I’m guessing Beard will wait a few extra moments in the national championship game if the Hurricanes look like they’re on the verge of winning.
