“I win, Google me.” It will go down as one of the most legendary sports quotes of all time, as Curt Cignetti called his shot before building the Indiana Hoosiers into national champions.

He tried to tell the world, despite how Indiana was perceived, he planned to win, and win he did. In just two years, he led Indiana to win 27 games, including a miraculous 16-0 season that ended with the Hoosiers crowned national champions.

To cement this truly incredible moment in sports history, Google felt the need to make the perfect callback to Cignetti’s iconic quote. To see if all you have to do is Google him.

Google makes a legendary decision to reward Curt Cignetti for leading Indiana to a National Championship

If you Google Curt Cignetti at the very top, you see the words “Yup, he won.” A simple but yet excellent decision by Google to acknowledge Cignetti’s iconic phrase right after the Hoosiers big win.

Next up for Cignetti is to build off arguably the best team turnaround in sports history. They will no longer be the underdog able to catch people by surprise; little ol’ Indiana is now at the mountaintop and will be faced with defending its title.

A much different mentality will be needed for this new era of Indiana Hoosiers college football. It seems safe to say Cignetti seems like the right man for the job to lead the Hoosiers into unfamiliar waters. If you need more information, feel free to Google the man and do your own research.
